All definitions of integration testing are wrong. Some are useful.
I like the "tests the integration between your code and an external system" definition, like testing against a real database or web connection, myself.
Also the original statement applies equally to "unit" tests.

@cvennevik Integration need definition I think. There's the connectivity aspect, the transfer of data, transfer of control, consistent use of data - maybe extend to usability if we look at systems+people. Big subject.
